PSC in 49th National Day Parade

As usual , every year during National Day Parade , BB PSC ( Penang State Council ) will send their best to form a contingent to attend the grand function , as a sign of patriotism and also a good chance to let the public know about BB.

What makes this year's National Day Parade different from previous years is that it is no more held in Explanade instead the state government decided to have it up on the hill – Balik Pulau , which is another corner of Penang island. So , it is something new for the residents in Balik Pulau area, and also for contingents who are so used to the environment at Explanade.

It was a rainy morning before all the BB member gather in the appointed place but thanks be to God for the rain subsided and finally stop, leaving a nice weather for this grand function. The BB contingent commander for this year is President Man Sgt Lim Meng Kee from 1 st Perai company (P/S. This day happened to be his birthday !) . Leading a contingent with a total of 82 members (majority are NCOs), the march past begin at around 11am .

Along the way , BB PSC contingent received a rousing applause from the public . The smart uniform matched with all the shinning badges, together with the nice dressing and drill during marching attracted many people. Many are impressed by the performance of BB PSC Contingent which is a good sign to the BB as the public now know more about the BB.

The success of BB PSC in National Day Parade again shows the good coordination and co-operation between companies and officers and members . All of us share the joy after we completed the whole journey . Even though it is sweaty and smelly but it again marked the success of PSC . So let's give all the BB PSC a PSC claps – Tepukan Penang ~ !
