First Sibu Annual Drill Competition

18th of November and 2nd of December 2006 might be ordinary days for many people, but for us, the members of 1st Sibu Company, these two days were our annual drill competition. On November the 18th , the drill competition took place at the Methodist Secondary School 's indoor stadium. The participants, including those new blood(recruits) were divided into 10 groups.
Before the drill competition, we had our uniform checked by a few officers of our own company. After the uniform checking, we prepare ourselves for the drill battle!

All of us felt very nervous during the drill competition, (maybe because of the strict faces shown by the judges, comprising of four of our company's officers, including our Captain). In the drill competition, all the participants listened attentively to all the commands given by their commanders and performed the movements well, (actually there were a few minor mistakes lah!), but overall, all of us had given our best performances and really put great efforts into this drill competition.
But unfortunately, when the drill competition was in progress, suddenly there was a heavy downpour and we were forced to postpone the competition as the participants could not hear the commands for the heavy rain “outspoken” the commanders. After a discussion, we postponed the competition to 2nd December, during our monthly church parade. Luckily, there was no rain, thanks to our heavenly Father.
After the tense drill battle, all of us gave out sighs of relief as we had finished, at last, our annual drill competition.

Now, we are waiting anxiously for the results of the competition.
