Early Christmas party for Penang NCOs
When I arrived in Penang on December 1st, Mr Loh Pau Joo, Penang State Commissioner told me that arrangements has been made for me to visit 3rd Butterworth the next day. It is December 2nd and I'm too visit the company this afternoon. As I boarded the van, with some 16th Penang members, I realised that I was actually going for a Christmas party! Isn't it a bit too early for Christmas? Well, it is December, Christmas month! Well, Penang State decided to have the NCOs Christmas Party early as nearing Christmas it would be a problem getting everyone together.
The programme started with a welcome from Mr Daniel Woo, the captain of the host coy. After which a short time of singspiration followed by a message by Rev Wee. Then it was dinner time. The food was a plenty and really nice.
After dinner, it was time to have a party, various games were organised with loads of prizes to be won.
Congrats to the Penang State NCOs, this is a great initiative and more such programmes for NCOs should be organised to bring NCOs together. Something for the other states or district to consider.
