Christmas at Portugese Settlement

Look at these photos.. Where do you think we celebrated Christmas at??
The NCOs organized games for seniors and juniors. We sang, we dance and we “shouted” publicly.

After some games, it's finally time for makan.
The food in Portuguese Settlement is rather expensive, as it is a famous place for seafood and it is “Portuguese style of cooking”.
Officers ordered 6 dishes for all of us.. yummy yummy.. Portuguese style of cooking is quite spicy. The famous black pepper brinjal is sooooooooo spicy that only few senior members enjoyed it. At the end, “untung” the officers as they get to “sapu” all the food.. (emm… do you think they purposely ordered this dish so that they can eat more.. haha…)

After makan, it's time to jalan-jalan.
The houses are decorated with lights and lights and more lights.
The best decorated house is “Santa Workshop” where there is a HUGE santa and a HUGE snowman at the entrance of this house. We were so excited to see that!
Everyone posting to take photo of these 2 decorative items.

There is another house which focuses on the birth of the King. It is the most meaningful decorated of all

After jalan-jalan, we have our BB vesper as the closing of our outing.

Although this is a very simple outing, all members enjoyed themselves.
Here, 3rd Melaka wishing you all… Blessed Christmas and Happy New Year 2007!!
