Enrolment and Awards Sunday
-First Klang Company

On the 24th of June 2007, our 1st Klang Boys' Brigade had our 2007 enrolment day. Members are to gather in MHS by 7.30 to get prepare, all of us were smartly dressed including d officers. Those without the BB uniforms wore their school uniform so that all of us looked formal. We went to the church a proximally 8 a.m. Our ‘Kawalan Kehormatan' or shall we say Guard Of Honor were all set by 8.15 a.m.

We had Sergeant Micheal Yap as our commander, and W/O Gun Chin Yong, S/Sergeant Alex, Sergeant Joe and Sergeant Chee Keat as the colour party. As we enter the Wesley Methodist Church sanctuary, I was very proud because our members really increased compared to last year's amount. We move on to praise and worship. Our VIP, which is Rev Richard Tok, the BB National Chaplain share with us about what meanings does our BB logo brings. He also told us about the story of a drummer boy, its was very fascinating, interesting and touching.

Then come the time of promotion, everybody was very tense up, we have 3 new smart L/Cpl which is L/Cpl Lim Yong Sheng, L/Cpl Aaron Alred, L/Cpl Tze Shern and L/Cpl Gun Chin Hwa. Apart from that, we have 3 condidates that have been promoted to the rank of Cpl which are, L/Cpl Jonathan Raj, L/Cpl Sharmraaj and L/Cpl Alvin Tan. Last but not least, the discharge of our S/Sergeant Alex Lim, a million thanks for your contributions and dedications towards the Brigade Ministry, and I'm sure you will continue to give your very best serving in higher level of the Brigade Movement.

Now comes the time, we play our role in entertaining the crowds, we start with a sketch from the winning team of our annual camp the ‘BUBES'. Then the next performance was our band, our hard work was really worth it, we played 4 songs, Battle Hymen, Joy To The World, Fire Dance, and finally King's Mountain Adventure. But before all this happened, the juniors performed a dance, a great dance. Taught by lieutenant Regina , Alan, Charlie and Madam Molly. Every great thing will come to an end, haiz. But before that our final performance was singing a praise song lead by Sergeant Micheal Yap, where the Colour was marched out smartly.

At the end of the event, we all have a fellowship accompanied by a moderate lunch at our multi purpose hall with our fellow guests and members. People out there, we would like to extend our gratitude and appreciation for coming and joining us in this meaningful. Your presence is very significant to us, as it signifies the support and teamwork spirit from all over around.

Members of the First Klang, congratulations on your achievements! Well-done and great works in making this event a success and many more to come!

We are United in BB.
