Take time to pray

As our Pesta draws near, we encourage all to take some time to pray for the items below:

  1. The Organising and Working Committees - that from God they can draw faith, strength, courage and inspiration as they work to put together a meaningful, enriching and successful Pesta.
  2. Financial - due to the low fees and the high cost of living, the organising committee is faced with the challenge to overcome an expected deficit. That more generous sponsors, donors and vendors will be gracious in their support. That all committees will be prudent in their spending.
  3. Registration - Praise God for the overwhelming response.
  4. Journey mercy - that God will protect all participants travelling far and near to the Pesta and that their journey will be trouble-free, comfortable and pleasant.
  5. Weather - that throughout the Pesta God will grant us fine weather as many of our events will be held outdoor.
  6. Protection - that all campers will be kept safe from harm, illness and uncalled for violence.
  7. Venues - that all selected venues will be confirmed before the event and the reception from the management will be cordial.
  8. The Schedule - that each event will be executed efficiently and successfully to the happiness and satisfaction of everyone.
  9. The Campers - that every camper will gain invaluable experience, cherish wonderful moments and foster closer ties throughout this event. Most of all realise and acknowledge God's presence in each of their lives.
  10. The Competitions - that despite competitiveness the spirit of true sportsmanship and Christian love will be exercised throughout the various competitions and games.
  11. Transportation - it is not going to be easy to transfer the entire camp from one place to another so pray for sufficient buses and efficient and cooperative bus drivers.
  12. God's blessings - that God will cover the entire Pesta with His grace, love and mercy.
